
With so many work out plans out there, with so many great tips, how do you know what you need to do first? Do you just pick one and go for it? Well, you can, but you would be missing a step that could set you up to fail before you even start!
Once you have found a weight loss plan that you think will work for you, there is one thing that you need to do before you start:
Sit down with a pen and paper, and write down some goals for yourself! You have to have goals to reach to keep yourself working toward losing weight!
When you are setting your goals, make sure that they are realistic. For example, you do not want your goal to be to have a body like a beach volley ball player in 6 weeks. You would be setting yourself up to fail!
Start small! This would be a great goal to start: Only drink water for one week! This a something that I am sure you could do easily, and you would achieve it quickly! This will help you feel better about yourself, and keep you going toward your weight loss goals!
Make up a list of goals for the first two weeks, and then sit down and make more as you reach your other goals!
Post your goals where you can see them to remind yourself what you are working toward. Also, check off your goals when you reach them, and keep them posted as well. This will also remind you of how far you have come!
So, get started! Sit down and make some goals for yourself! You can do this! Just remember to stay positive, and you will reach your weight loss goals!
