During the week it can be very hard to make sure that you make the right food choices when you are hungry. I know that there are a lot of times that you wait so long to eat, or are so hungry that you end up grabbing whatever is handy and eating that. Normally those foods are unhealthy, processed foods, or sweet foods that are full of sugar.
So what can you do to make sure that you have healthy supportive foods handy?
What I do, is when I get home from the grocery store, I lay out all of the fruits and vegetables that need to be cut up on the counter while I put everything else away.
Then, I wash everything, cut it up, put it in bags, and put it in the refrigerator. Now, everything is prepped, and ready for me to eat! Not only are they there for snacks, but for any lunches or dinners that they can be added to.
Another thing you can do is cut up chicken, pork, beef, or another meat that you eat during the week, and cook it. Now this will also be ready to eat, and all you will have to do is warm it up, and you are ready to eat!
I know that this is a very simple tip, but if you take the time after you get home from the store to prep you food, you will make better choices throughout the week!
