Happy New Year! Can you believe that 2008 is gone, and it is now 2009! I know I can’t!
So, I know we all have new years resolutions, but what are you going to do to reach your goals this year? What are you going to do to make sure that your resolution this year will not be your resolution next year?
The number one resolution in the US is to lose weight. The number 5 resolution is to get fit. To go right along with those, number 6 is to eat right. Are these one of yours? If so, what are you going to do differently this year?
Here are some ideas for you to start with.
When you first get up in the morning, drink a tall glass of water! Your body has gone 8 hours without any water, trust me, it is thirsty! Also, what a great way to start the day by putting something good into your body!

Second, take some time for yourself before you start your day. Sit down, and read your Bible or an inspirational book. Even if you just sit in silence and think about the goals you have for the day. This will help you to start your day in a positive way, and trust me, it will change the entire day for you!
Then, if you have time, take some time to stretch your body. Do whatever you like, and whatever feels relaxing to you.
This will help to loosen up your muscles, and help get your body ready for your day.
Now, we are ready for breakfast! Choose wisely, because this will set your eating pace for the entire day. My breakfast almost every day is eggs and a fresh fruit. You could also add in a complex carb such as whole wheat toast. Don’t forget the water too!
Now you are off to a great start for your day! Now go get ready, you are going to be late!
The next step for you is to start exercising! Don’t feel like you have to go hard core from the start. We want to get you into a routine of exercising, so feel free to start with just taking a walk by yourself or with a friend!
If you think that you are ready for more, jump right in! Just make sure that you have a workout plan that fits your lifestyle. One that works for me might not work for your lifestyle, so do some research!
Start with these tips, and we can move on from here soon. This would be a great way to start to get you moving toward your New Years Resolution, and changing your life for good!
One last thing, go buy yourself a notebook that you can use for your goals. Take some time to write down things that you did that day, food choices that you made, workouts that you did, something inspirational that you read. This will help you more than you know!
So, what are you waiting for, get started! Make 2009 the year that will change your life so that you will never have to have losing weight as your resolution ever again!
