			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well today is day number one of the <a title="Fit Yummy Mummy" href="http://www.waystoburnfatquickly.com/fym " target="_blank">2012 NYTC</a>.  I ate well all day, and love how I feel when I do.  Here is what I had:</p>

<p>It feels good to not have anything un-planned or greasy on the list!  I spent quite a bit of time yesterday prepping veggies and cooking chicken and other foods just to make sure I was ready to start the challenge.  No workout today because I was hurting so bad where my surgery site was.  It is just in a horrible spot.  I am going to have to start very slow, and work toward getting stronger.  I am excited, and looking forward to Day 2!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My name is Alison and I have been an FYM (<a title="Fit Yummy Mummy" href="http://www.waystoburnfatquickly.com/fym" target="_blank">Fit Yummy Mummy</a>) since it first started. I also have a major problem of doing very well with FYM, and getting my life almost on track, and then crashing and burning. This past year (2011) I have let the business of life, and work totally keep me away from workouts of any kind. I have also been so busy that I have not even allowed myself time to plan for meals, let alone prepare them. I only have myself to blame for letting work move to the number one thing I do. When I am active, and feel physically fit, I get more work done, even if I lose 45 minutes to exercise during my work day. So, this challenge is not only a physical challenge for me, but a mental one.</p>
<p>Starting 2012, I am in the worst shape I have been in a few years. The feeling in my belly is horrible. The extra weight in my thighs is literally weighing me down. Although I have not seen my weight increase much, I know that I am totally out of shape because of the way I feel and my lack of tone. This is going to be the year that I change my life! When I am fit, and eating right, it not only helps my children but also my husband as well. With that said, here are my starting stats:</p>
<p>Starting Stats:<br />
Age &#8211; 30<br />
Height &#8211; 5&#8242; 0&#8243;<br />
Weight &#8211; 103 pounds<br />
Waist &#8211; 25&#8243;<br />
Belly &#8211; 29 1/2&#8243;<br />
Hips &#8211; 32&#8243;<br />
Butt &#8211; 36&#8243;<br />
Thigh &#8211; 19.75&#8243;<br />
Arm &#8211; 9.5&#8243;<br />
Chest &#8211; 30.5&#8243;</p>
<p>Plan my food &#8211; I would like to have everything I eat planned, including my cheat meals. I need to take the time before to help make sure I am making supportive choices for my body. This also takes the &#8220;What are we having for dinner&#8221; stress, and eliminates it.</p>
<p>Muscle tone &#8211; I want to look in the mirror, and see the tone of my muscle. Right now, I look and see where I am getting fatter, and I don&#8217;t want to feel that anymore. I want to feel good about my body when I look in the mirror, and seeing muscle tone always helps. I also want my legs to feel tones again. There are two places that I gain fat first and that is my tummy and my legs. My legs feel so heavy right now, I can&#8217;t even stand the feeling of running up the stairs.</p>
<p>Clothing &#8211; I want to fit comfortably into my clothing, and not have to suck in to zip or button anything. I have nothing right now that fits me like it should, and I am looking forward to the day where I feel good in my clothing.</p>
<p>Food Log &#8211; Logging what I am eating always helps me see if I am staying on track or not. I also seems to hurt a little more when you have to write it down.</p>
<p>Its time to get it done, and reach my goals for once. I am thankful for <a title="Fit Yummy Mummy" href="http://www.waystoburnfatquickly.com/fym" target="_blank">FYM</a> and am honored to be a part of the 2012 NYTC challenge.</p>

<p>You are always such a motivating person and you have definitely sparked  something in me over the past 6 months since I joined ClubFYM&#8230;Funny  too how some friends were asking me <strong>what &#8220;diet&#8221;</strong> I was  on and I felt almost insulted by the thought that they could think I  would dishonour my body by abusing it just for the sake of looking good.</p>

<p>&#8220;I have had a fuzzy goal to &#8220;get healthy&#8221; for about 3 years since a  doctors visit suggested that I needed to lose weight and get my  triglycerides, etc. under control. But then after I start a diet or  start exercising again, I get sidetracked by <strong>being consumed with losing X-number of lbs</strong> or fitting into a certain size.</p>
<p>If you can help me focus again on being healthy, then this challenge will have been well worth it regardless of lbs lost, etc.</p>
<p>I LOVED what you said about, <strong>&#8220;Take the steps that take care of you&#8221;</strong>.</p>
<p>It made me think that if I can <strong>take care of TODAY</strong> and  not try to make up for yesterday or work for tomorrows results then all  of my todays will add up to tomorrows results in a healthy way without  all the added stress, guilt, killing myself, etc. Again, WOW!!!!&#8221;<br />

<p>So, what I found that I need is accountability and a community of people to support me, and help hold me accountable.  I had this for a while, but drifted away because I &#8220;didn&#8217;t have the money&#8221;.  Now looking back, I made a huge mistake.</p>
<p>I have now re-joined <a href="http://www.waystoburnfatquickly.com/fym" target="_blank">Club FYM</a> (Fit Yummy Mummy).  This is a site full of community, accountability, and loaded with more information than I could ever need to be successful.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Have you ever woken up one day, and all of a sudden it hits you? &#8220;Wow! What happened?&#8221; You look in the mirror and have no clue how your belly got so big over night. <br />
That is where I am at right now. I have been traveling more for my job, and have not been making the best food choices. For some reason I seem to tell myself that it&#8217;s ok to eat bad when you are on the road.<br />
Plus, I don&#8217;t work out more than I do lately.<br />
So why is it so shocking that pants don&#8217;t fit, and I don&#8217;t feel good about my body?<br />
It all adds up looking back. Bad food choices + no exercise = exactly what I am feeling right now.  I have got to get myself motivated! I am going to start with setting some short term goals for myself, and get on a plan. I am thinking about doing the 12 week Turbulence Training challenge, but know it is going to be hard work!</p>
<p>If you feel like me, do this with me! I will post some info on signing up for the challenge as soon as I sign up.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today is day #10 on the 30 Day MAP Fat Loss Challenge, and I am disappointed in my efforts so far.  I know that the results would be great if I would just give it my all.  I have been sticking strictly to the Elimination Diet, and feel great for doing that, but I have been missing workouts.</p>
<p>I need to get every workout in.  Things have to change from this point on.  Day 11 will be a better post than this one.  Promise!</p>
<p>I would like to thank Dax for everything he has done for the people doing the MAP Fat Loss challenge, and I would like to personally like to say sorry for not giving it my all.</p>
<p>I promise to change my ways from here on out!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Day 9 on the MAP challenge!  I am so glad that I am doing this challenge, and have enjoyed doing it along with my husband Tony.  There is one workout that we always do together, and we have a blast.  It is one of the hardest workouts, and you have 20 minutes to get through all of it, so it is encouraging for me to see him going strong, and it keeps me going strong too.</p>
<p>I have also enjoyed doing the Elimination Diet.  This is something that I need to be on all year because it makes me feel so much better.  I have no stomach bloating or pain, and I just feel great!</p>
