Day 12 on the Meltdown 2010 was a challenging day. This morning I woke up feeling sick to my stomach. This is the first time that I have felt bad in 12 days. I don’t normally eat fish, so I am thinking it had to be that
I also had a very busy work day, so it was challenging to get my workouts in.
Don’t worry, I did it! Today, each workout was extra hard too. I spent more time concentrating on my form during each exercise. My husband was kind enough to point out where I needed improvement. That might have ended in a fight with most couples, but I know he is just trying to help me.
Tonight, we had a Cornish Game Hen recipe from the Elimination Diet Cookbook. They looked beautiful, and my husband seemed to love it! As for me, let’s just say I could go days with no meat. Plus, I got to know the birds while I was stuffing them with Dax’s secret recipe! If I make it again, it will be for my husband.
I am still in amazement that we have not had coffee in 12 days. Our coffee pot has to be thrilled to have a break! My husband and I were drinking about 5 pots a day! Crazy, I know.
This is been such a wonderful change for me. I am so glad that Dax has offered the Meltdown 2010 first thing this year. It is exactly what I needed to do for myself.
So..day 12 complete! See you on Day 13.
