
After having three kids, and not working out, I found myself with some extra fat and skin that I did not want to keep any longer! I wanted to work out, but when could I find the time? I work all day, come home, make dinner, give the kids a bath, get the kids in bed, and the do any house work that needed to be done. How could I find time for fitness?
Well, I learned that if I don’t make time for myself now, I never will, and things will just end up getting worse! If I want to be the best mom I can be for my kids, I need to take care of myself. Also, I needed to show my children the value of taking care of your health.
I feel so blessed to have found a community of women that basically live the same life I do. Almost all of us are mothers, and share the same struggles.
This is what I have learned:
You have to have ME time! Make time for yourself at least twice a week, and that does not include workouts. This would be doing something that you love!
Also, take 15 minutes every day to workout. That’s right, 15 minutes. That is all you need. You don’t have to work out for hours at the gym to look like you have been working out for hours at the gym!
Do whatever it takes to create workout time. Get up 15 minutes earlier, do it on your lunch hour, as soon as you get home, after the kids are in bed, whenever you can!
If you do this, you will start to feel SO much better! You will have more energy, and will feel great about the changes in your body and in your attitude!
Start there, and see how you feel! I promise you will feel better!
