Well today is day number one of the 2012 NYTC. I ate well all day, and love how I feel when I do. Here is what I had:
Breakfast – Muscle Mike protein shake
Snack – Rice crackers, hummus
Lunch – Chicken stir fry (prepared yesterday, so it was quick and yummy!)
Snack – Missed because I let work control my afternoon
Dinner – ED Chili
It feels good to not have anything un-planned or greasy on the list! I spent quite a bit of time yesterday prepping veggies and cooking chicken and other foods just to make sure I was ready to start the challenge. No workout today because I was hurting so bad where my surgery site was. It is just in a horrible spot. I am going to have to start very slow, and work toward getting stronger. I am excited, and looking forward to Day 2!
