
The Acai berry comes from the Acai Palm in the Brazilian rain forest. It is true that this berry contains lots of nutrients and could help you lose weight. When the berry is picked, it needs to be immediately freeze dried, or the berry will lose its nutrients.
Once the berry is freeze dried, the pulp is then converted into powder and used in the Acai products that are available to us.
How do you know if you are getting a quality product? You don’t. There are lot’s of things about the Acai product that will be unknown, like was it freeze dried right away to conserve the nutrients? It this product 100% Acai? Most products do not even let you know the percentage of Acai that is in the product.
So, does this assist in weight loss? I am sure that it could. It is a Super Food after all. But, there are also many other Super Foods that assist in weight loss as well. The best part about them, is you can buy them at the store near you , and eat them fresh!

Broccoli, Carrots, Chili Peppers, Spinach, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Strawberries, Papaya, Pineapple, Kiwi, Mangoes, Citrus Fruits, Apricots, Bananas, Garlic, Green Tea, Beans, Soybeans, Salmon and Oats.
The Acai Berry is also claimed to increase your memory. Pretty impressive, right? Well, any food with Omega 3’s, Folic Acid, Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12 will do the same thing.
The Acai Berry is also claimed to help prevent Heart Disease. Here are some other foods that do the same, and will cost you much less! Fruits, vegetables, whole grains and low fat dairy.

Personally, I am going to stick to the foods that I can buy fresh, and know for a fact that they are supportive, and will assist in my weight loss!
